Safeguarding Children and Vulnerable Adults
Our Lady’s Nurses for the Poor recognise and uphold the dignity and rights of every child and adult with whom we interact.
We are committed to Safeguarding, understood as the prevention of harm, with a special focus on care for children and adults who are at risk.
Our Safeguarding culture is supported by Policies and Procedures and a Safeguarding Code of Conduct underpinned by the National Catholic Safeguarding Standards.
After attending an education program, members and staff sign the Safeguarding Code of Conduct, undertaking that they understand their personal responsibility to abide by the provisions of each of these documents and at all times to protect themselves and the people with whom they may come into contact through their work for or with the Congregation.
