A happy reunion

15 April 1973. Our Lady’s Nurses for the Poor celebrates its Diamond Jubilee. By this stage, co-founder Rev. Father Edward McGrath msc has returned to live at Our Lady’s Home, Coogee. Three of the foundation nurses – Mother Agnes (May) McGahey and Sisters Julia Cooney and Nell Fitzgerald – are still alive, each having served the sick poor for almost 60 years.
