Eileen's thoughts on doing God's will

“Blessed are those who love, who find joy in loving. The most joy is found in giving, give only the best. Try to be worthy of giving and loving.”

“To be resigned is to accept, to acknowledge and to trust in and love Our Lord’s will. To accept it as His; as being from Him, for our own good.”

Eileen O’Connor, co-founder of Our Lady’s Nurses for the Poor.

Reflection (Matthew 5:14–16): You are the light for the whole world. A city built on a hill cannot be hidden. No one lights a lamp and puts it under a bowl, instead he puts it on a Lampstand where it gives light for everyone in the house. In the same way your light must shine before people, so that they will see the good things you do and praise your Father in heaven.

Prayer: Promise Our Lady to look often at the Crucifix, and help others to love it, and use it. Amen.
