Dominic Sullivan
Chair

Dominic Sullivan has more than 20 years’ experience in range of property, investment, legal and commercial roles within the public and private sectors. He is currently the General Manager of Payce Consolidated, an ASX-listed property and investment company. Dominic is a former commercial lawyer with the Crown Solicitor’s Office and Mayor of Randwick City Council. He holds a Bachelor of Laws(Hons) and Bachelor of Arts (Hons).

 

Sister Anne O’Shaughnessy 

Sister Anne O’Shaughnessy has been a member of Our Lady’s Nurses for the Poor for 50 years. A former Congregational Leader and current member of its leadership team, she brings a great love for the sick poor and the importance of the ministry to the Brown Nurses. Sister Anne has general nursing qualifications and a Graduate Diploma in Counselling from the College of Applied Psychology. Besides her work with Our Lady’s Nurses for the Poor and the Brown Nurse, Sister Anne works at The Nagle Centre, which provides family care and support services in the Macarthur region of NSW.

 

William Dawe

William Dawe served as a Crown Prosecutor and Deputy Senior Crown Prosecutor for 26 years after serving with NSW Police for 13 years. He returned to practice at the NSW Bar in 2007 and is currently the Head of Chambers at Ada Evans Chambers in Sydney. William is a Knight Commander with Star in the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem.

 

Sister Gabriel Bast

Sister Gabriel Bast has been a member of Our Lady’s Nurses for the Poor for 50 years. A former Congregational Leader and current member of its leadership team, she brings a great love for the sick poor and the importance of the ministry to the Brown Nurses. Sister Gabriel is a registered nurse and holds a Bachelor Health Science (Management) from Charles Sturt University and a Master of Community Health from NSWU. She is an Associate Fellow of the College of Health Service Management (NSW).

 

Gemma Rygate

Gemma Rygate has more than 25 years’ experience as an executive, manager, consultant and facilitator in the public and private sectors. She has extensive experience in business and educational administration, with a focus on leadership, strategic planning and project management. She is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of The Centre for Volunteering. Prior to this, she held executive roles with the Institute of Public Administration Australia and the Public Sector Management Program for NSW. Gemma holds a Master of Arts, Bachelor of Education and a Diploma of Teaching.

 

Donna Rygate

Donna Rygate has worked in policy, communications, governance and operational roles in the NSW public sector for over 25 years. Currently Chief Executive Officer of Local Government NSW, she has also been Chief Executive of the NSW Office of Communities and Deputy Director – General Strategy, Communication and Governance with the NSW Department of Community Services. Donna’s broad experience has included roles in central agencies, transport and environment protection. She holds a Bachelor of Economics (Hons) and a Masters degree in Planning. Donna was made a Fellow of the Institute of Public Administration in 2012.
