Eileen O’Connor: Little Mother Down Under

Eileen O’Connor: Little Mother Down Under

10 January 2021 also marked the official launch of Eileen O’Connor: Little Mother Down Under, a wonderful 32-page children’s book that describes the inspiring life of Eileen O’Connor to young readers. Tragedy struck Eileen at a very early age when she had an accident and became disabled. That was not to be the end of her story but only the beginning. Eileen put herself in God’s hands and God did amazing things through her and for her. Eileen had a great love of children who were her special friends. This lovely book was written by Dolores Lightbody and illustrated by Megg Cullin. Emeritus Bishop of Broken Bay, David Walker, has endorsed the publication and hopes that it will help many children to learn about and be inspired by this wonderful Australian Servant of God. Copies are available from the publisher, St Pauls (stpauls.com.au), for just $7.95.
